Placing an Order

When you place an order through our website, you're making an offer to purchase goods from C.R. Clowes and Son Ltd as described. We’ll require your name, email, phone number, delivery address, and payment details to process your order and keep you updated. Where necessary, we may pass your contact number to our courier to help coordinate delivery.

Once your order is received, we’ll send a confirmation email. This confirms we’ve received your order, but it doesn’t mean it's been accepted. A contract is only formed when your order has been processed, approved, and dispatched.

We reserve the right to cancel or delay your order if:

• The product is out of stock

• Payment can’t be authorised

• There’s an error in product pricing or description

• You don’t meet the eligibility criteria in these terms

• Delivery is affected by unforeseen issues (e.g., extreme weather)

If any issues arise, we’ll contact you via phone or email.

Please check your items carefully on arrival—damaged or faulty goods must be reported within 3 working days.

We aim to ensure all details, pricing, and availability on our website are accurate, though occasional discrepancies may occur. Final prices are confirmed only once your order is accepted.

If your order has not yet been dispatched, we’ll cancel it immediately. If it has already been sent, you may return it for an exchange.

Please return goods in their original packaging. Return postage (except for faulty or damaged goods) is the customer’s responsibility. If a third party received the order on your behalf, you’ll need to return it directly to us to process your cancellation.

Returns & Faulty Items
If your item arrives damaged or faulty, or you need to return it, please contact us within 3 working days of receipt:

All returns must be made within 30 days, in a reasonable condition. We cannot accept returns for personalised or made-to-order items unless they are faulty.

We recommend including your Returns Slip and obtaining a Certificate of Posting in case your parcel doesn't reach us. Return postage (except in cases of fault or damage) is your responsibility. This does not affect your statutory rights.
